First Race of the Fall Points Season
We had a fabulous day of racing out at the track! The weather was gorgeous, over cast, breezy & cool. We had some of the closes racing we have ever had at the track in a few different classes. Cadet was one of them. It was a battle between Hunter Sapp & Tori Jolly. In the feature Tori led the whole race with Hunter right on her back bummer. On the white flag lap he passed her on the back stretch. They went into corner 8 two wide. Hunter came out into lead and led the rest of the race. Another close race was in our Kid Kart class. Cody Krucker & Chase Daffin were neck & neck. Cody won the first & second heat, but in the feature Chase gain the lead in lap 3 and held it to the end. The Box stock Jr class was a close race also! Nash Duyn our track champion was able to hold the lead but right on his heels was the new driver in his 2nd race ever at our track Ben Withes! Congratulations to all of our winners!
We also had a trophy ceremony this morning before the races. Our Most-improved Jr. Driver were Cody Krucker, Kodi Snapp, Nash Duyn, Chase Daffin, &Byron Henry. Race mamma of the year went to Susie Sayler, Spotsman of the year went to Ray Noonon, Larry Marsh, & Roger Sayler. Family of the year went to Freebury Family, &Forhay Family. Major-malfunction award went to the Kotara-Sapp Family! Best appearing kart of the year went to the Paciotto Family & Distanti Family. Congratulations to all the winners of our special awards, and to all of our track champions! I hope you all enjoy your huge trophies!!

Regional Airport at the end of the Immokalee Regional Race Way drag
strip. Races are scheduled every first and third Sunday of the Month
September through June unless otherwise notified. Open practice
8:30a.m.unill 1:00 p.m. on the Saturdays before the scheduled race dates

It was a great day of racing on Sunday Sept 25, 2011. We had a new driver win our Box stock Jr class. Kolton Mitchell in his second race ever won! Congrats to Kolton on his big win. Some of our best racing of the day was in the kid kart class. First heat was won by Chase Daffin. The second heat won by Cody Krucker. In the feature it was a close race however the win went to Chase at the checker. Congrats to Chase! Our cadet class had some amazing racing as well. It was the boys Hunter Padilla & Devin Bowerman battling it one for first & second. In the end Devin would come out on top of the rumble! Congrats to all of our winner! We also going to have our points banquet on the morning of the first race of the Fall points season October 16, 2011. Please see the home page for the details!
Starting this year at West Coast Karting we will be running only one points season. Oct- April and then we will be taking the summer off. We will also only be running one race a month. Please see our events posted on the schedule heading at the top.
