Warren tops in Youth class at West coast Karting
Collin Warren is just barely 10 years of age and has already given away half a house full of winners’ trophies from racing. Before coming to West Coast Karting 6 years ago, he was a top rider on the BMX circuit. He has continued his winning ways through 5 different classes in Karting already. Besides his home track at West Coast Karting, He also drives in State and National race with great success. This past race date he shut down the field of entries in the Easy 60 cc class. Starting on the pole in heat one and leading the pack for 8 laps was no problem. Reverse that setting in heat two and he came from last place to finish second behind the very fast Daniel Caylor. It was Ison challenging Warren in the feature as the two young drivers battled it out for the grueling 10 lap feature. Warren’ experience paid off as he was able to hold off first Bryan Horowitz then Caylor to take top honors for the day in one of the larger classes.

Hutchinson takes top Kudos at West Coast Karting
Daniel Hutchinson has raise through the ranks of driving Karts at West Coast Karting for the past few years. Running the steps from one junior class to another leading up to Junior Super Can, one of the fastest youth classes on the Karting circuit. Hutchinson, the current points leader in the Junior Super Can class at West Coast Karting, showed why he is the leader in this class by taking the checkered flag in all three heats in this past weekend’s compaction. It was not without challenge though. Young Dorothy Rhea kept Hutchinson on his toes. If Rhea was to take off her right shoe after the feature heat, you could probably feel the heat coming off it from having her foot up Hutchinson exhaust for the ten lap feature. Hutchinson drove flawlessly in the feature and held off the challenges of Rhea to take the checkered flag and the big trophy home for his efforts. Rhea finished second followed closely by Brandon Salyer.
